Rudy Marcial 26-years-old on December 20, 2005 when he and a group of multiple other subjects were walking through the parking lot at Clocktower Plaza near downtown Elgin. Rudy and his acquaintances became involved in a verbal altercation with another group of subjects in the parking lot when a suspect then shot at Rudy and his friends, striking Rudy and killing him. The suspect(s) then fled in a vehicle.
