18-year-old Julian Mascote was outside of his residence in the 300 block of North Street with four friends, including 26-year-old Francisco Franco, in the evening hours of July 26, 2007 when unknown suspect(s) fired multiple times at the five subjects, striking and killing both Julian and Francisco. Two other adults were also wounded during the shooting.
